See the Difference a Bible College Makes

Why Choose a Bible College for Your Education? Here’s Why.

Your college years are some of the most formative years of your life – why not use them to discover who God is calling you to become? Since 1933, Lancaster Bible College has provided Christian students a nurturing and safe environment to grow academically, spiritually and personally on our beautiful campus in Central Pennsylvania. Our graduates go on to do great things in the church and society, like working at Fortune 100 companies or government agencies, starting their own businesses or ministries, serving as pastors locally or around the world, or going overseas as missionaries. No matter where you end up, your time at LBC will equip you to serve wherever God may call you.

If faith is an integral part of your life, you’ll want to choose a college that has supports in place for you. Of course, you’ll take Bible classes here at LBC – at least 30 credits worth – but this Bible college is so much more than that. Aside from our thrice-weekly chapel services where students and staff worship together, professors take prayer requests at the beginning of classes, staff members host Bible studies on campus and in their homes, there are opportunities for formal and informal mentorship – and you’ll be surrounded by fellow Christians who are dedicated to their beliefs. At LBC, we believe in life-on-life discipleship. That’s why you should study here.

Accreditation: Why Does It Matter?

LBC is regionally accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and nationally accredited by the Association of Biblical Higher Education. In essence, accreditation means that a school is evaluated and held to certain standards to ensure students receive a quality education. It also plays an important role in setting you up for success if you transfer, want to attend graduate school and makes you more employable.
