by LBC Marketing

August 13, 2019

Lancaster Bible College is proud to present the inspiring and captivating musical, “RUTH,” based on the beloved Bible story. The show follows the improbable journey of Ruth and Naomi, two destitute widows whose faith in God and in each other ignites a chain of events that changes the course of history. LBC’s performances of the show represent the first time the company has licensed an original Sight & Sound Theatres production for public use and will star a cast of LBC students and a live orchestra.

“It is an honor and privilege to perform one of Sight & Sound’s incredible productions here at LBC,” said Dr. Paul Thorlakson, chair of the Music, Worship & Performing Arts Department at the college. “This will be an incredible opportunity for our students and for the community to experience the unparalleled storytelling abilities of Sight & Sound Theatres.” Josh Enck, President of Sight & Sound Theatres expressed, “We are grateful for community neighbors like Lancaster Bible College that share our passion for the Bible and the performing arts. We couldn’t be more excited to see them bring RUTH to life on their stage.”

I bought tickets to the feb 1, 2pm performance but may need to get one more. There are a few more seats available but not near the ones I already ordered. Wondering if the seats are truly assigned or if you do that when ordering just so you know how many people will be in the auditorium?

  • Laura says:

Good afternoon, my husband and I have tickets to see Ruth on Friday night, but we have an issue with childcare. Is there any possibility of changing our tickets from Friday to Saturday day or night?

We have tickets to the Friday night show, and we are running into a childcare issue. Is there any way to change our tickets to Saturday sometime?

    • Kelsey Madas says:

Hi Laura! We sent your info to our box office team, but you can also reach out first! Their email is boxoffice@lbc.edu and you can call them at (717) 560-8241 (this phone number has been updated – it is now the correct number for the box office.)

      • Laura says:

This is a fax number. I have called, emailed, and left a message here, and still no one has gotten back to me or been accessible to speak to, which has been incredibly frustrating.

        • Kelsey Madas says:

Hi Larua, my apologies! Looks like I copied the fax number from our phone instead of the direct line. Here are your options:

          1. Send an email to boxoffice@lbc.edu
          2. Call our main line at 717-569-7071 and ask to be transferred to the box office.
          3. Call the direct box office number at 717-560-8241

  • Lisa says:

Can you tell me what time the doors open for the Saturday evening show.
