Student Government Association (SGA) exists to whole-heartedly serve and engage the students, all for the glory of God. SGA represents the voices of the student body in order to enhance the student experience and is the governing entity of the student organizations of Lancaster Bible College.
At LBC, Charger Athletics is viewed as part of the college’s ministry and an integral part of the educational process. Whether it is on or off the court, student-athletes are encouraged to strive for excellence in athletic and academic performance, develop leadership abilities and cultivate Christ-centered relationships that impact others.
LBC is a dual member of the NCAA III and the NCCAA and utilizes both on-campus and off-campus facilities to engage its 20+ programs.
The LBC Music, Worship & Performing Arts Department offers students a variety of ways to grow in their God-given musical gifts and to prepare for personal and collaborative success. Performances are held on and off-campus, such as at The Trust Performing Arts Center. Ensembles are open to the entire undergraduate student body. Auditions are required for all ensembles and take place at the beginning of each fall semester.
Communication & Media Arts students have the opportunity for hands-on experience that strengthens their skills and knowledge while also providing enrichment to the college community. Opportunities for student-directed media include radio broadcasting in our in-house radio station (an exact replica of local Christian radio station WJTL’s setup), intro to video production or journalism and production with the student newspaper, college yearbook or Charge Magazine. Check out our students’ work.
Our Student Affairs Office is committed to providing opportunities for students to develop the skill and art of leadership amongst their peers. LeadNow is a group program that exists to provide student leadership training.
