Transferring to LBC

Lancaster Bible College welcomes transfer students! We are committed to helping you achieve your future goals, through integrating your previous educational experiences with our curriculum here at LBC.

Before you apply to LBC, we want to let you know exactly what credits you can expect to transfer! Some of our majors, like Biblical Studies, are more ideal for transfer students, as they are designed with more elective credits.

To have a transcript evaluation completed, fill out our transfer inquiry form, or simply send your official transcript to admissionsoffice@lbc.edu and include your name, desired major, and name of the college you’re transferring from.

After you receive your transcript evaluation, the next step is to apply! Transfer students can apply using our traditional undergraduate degree and selecting “transfer” on the form. Transfer students will work with an admissions counselor, who’s trained to help them transition here smoothly. The following documents are needed for transfer students:

Lancaster Bible College’s Transfer Policy

The College accepts credits from accredited institutions of higher education and from other institutions of higher education which have academic standards comparable to LBC.

  • The academic requirement is a GPA of 2.0 for all previous college work.
  • Transfer credit is granted for coursework for which you received a minimum grade of “C” and that find a parallel in course requirements in your LBC program of study.
  • If you want to know how many of your credits will transfer to LBC, send an unofficial copy of your transcript for credit evaluation to the Admissions Office.
