2018 was a big year for Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School. Check out some of the incredible highlights you may have missed!

1. Ranked Once Again by The Wall Street Journal

2. Added 3 New Online Degrees

The college recently announced that three new online majors are now available in communication, sport management and general studies. Read more here.

3. We Launched a New Gap Program

Not sure what to do with your life once you graduate from high school? Then check out Lancaster Bible College’s new gap year program that lasts for just one semester. Read more here.

4. New Majors Added in Special Ed & ESL

Lancaster Bible College is pleased to announce the addition of several new education majors in special education and English as a second language, offered in a bachelor’s/master’s degree combination or solely as a master’s degree. Read more here.

5. LBC Was Named on a List of 70 Best Christian Colleges & Universities

Adding to its list of recent accolades, the college just landed on a list of 70 Best Christian Colleges & Universities by Crosswalk.com. The Christian resource website touted LBC’s ideal location, student-to-faculty ratio and its wide offering of academic program across multiple levels of education.

6. New Degree Added in Philly Location

The Philadelphia site of Lancaster Bible College added a new degree in Community Transformation & Social Engagement. Read more here.

7. Maryland Location Added On-Site Degree in Business

The Greenbelt, Maryland location of Lancaster Bible College now offers an on-site, in class undergraduate degree in business administration. Read more here.

8. Broke Ground for a New Turf Field

The Donald H. Funk Field serves as the new home of the college’s field sport athletic programs and is named in honor of Donald Funk, a longtime corporation member at LBC. Read more here.

9. President of LBC Announces 2019 Retirement

Dr. Peter W. Teague will be stepping down from his role as the president of Lancaster Bible College on August 1, 2019. Read more here.

10. LBC Earned Second Straight NEAC Presidents’ Cup

The Chargers were named winners of the NEAC Presidents’ Cup on August 3, as the NEAC culminated its week of sub-cup winners, by naming the overall top team in the conference for the 2017-18 academic year. Read more here.

11. LBC Announced New Master’s Concentrations in Christian Apologetics, Bible Exposition & Cultural Engagement

The college added three new concentrations to its Master of Arts in Biblical Studies program: Christian Apologetics, Bible Exposition and Cultural Engagement at both our Lancaster campus and Greenbelt, Maryland location. Read more here.

13. LBC Men’s Volleyball Team Wins First-Ever NEAC Championship

Lancaster Bible College men’s volleyball team won its first-ever North Eastern Athletic Conference Championship on Sunday, April 15. Read more here.
