LBC Alumnus Named Youth Pastor Of The Year

by Kelsey Madas

Cody Ray (’15), a two-time graduate of Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School, was named the Youth Pastor of the Year on July 21 by CE National at the Momentum Youth Conference in Marion, Indiana.

Ray, who serves as the youth pastor at Connection Christian Church in York, Pennsylvania, has been working as a pastor for the past seven years. He told us he was humbled to receive this honor. “I appreciate this award a lot and it means a lot to me and my family,” he explained. “We work hard to understand what it is that God wants us to do and where He wants us to go, and we strive to lead in a way that shows excellence in all we do for Him. Whenever we receive any type of recognition like this, we hope and pray that it will just lead to us being able to help further influence others to become better leaders in their own lives and ministries and to open doors to spread Jesus to more places.”
