LBC Students & Staff Head to Houston for Hurricane Clean Up

by LBC Marketing

A team of 44 students and four staff members from Lancaster Bible College are heading to Houston, Texas to help clean up some of the damage inflicted by Hurricane Harvey. The team will be in Texas from October 17 through 23 and will partner with Samaritan’s Purse, a non-denominational evangelical Christian International Relief organization.

Each person needs to raise $400 for this trip. “Our goal is to and be the hands, head and heart of Jesus Christ in the midst of a very difficult situation,” said Judd Buckwalter, leader of the team and program director of LBC’s professional counseling major.

To donate to the trip, visit our giving site, select “Journey Teams” and in the designated area, add Houston Relief in the comment box. To donate for a specific student, include their name in the comment box.
