Anne Nye, BMus

Adjunct Faculty - Brass (French horn)

Anne Nye currently holds horn positions with Allegro Orchestra of Lancaster, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra and The Pennsylvania Philharmonic. She also regularly performs with several other regional orchestras, including the York, Lancaster, Reading, and Kennett Symphonies.  She has a passion for chamber music and holds the horn chair in Manor Winds, Trilogy Brass and the Lancaster Brass Quintet. In addition to her role as professor of horn at Lancaster Bible College, she also manages the Lancaster Bible College orchestra. She is currently interim professor of horn at Franklin and Marshall College. She enjoys networking and bringing people together, both musically and socially, and often contracts the musicians for local choral and church groups.

Although music keeps her quite busy, she also has an antique business at Tollbooth Antiques in Columbia, PA and enjoys sewing, knitting and repurposing objects in the historic farmhouse where she resides with her husband Rob.
