Del Wesley has served as Esperanza Health Center’s (EHC) Director of Strategic Advancement since 2017, where she was responsible for leading a campaign to increase financial support for a new health center that opened in the fall of 2019. She facilitates EHC’s strategic planning process and oversees development and communications activities. Prior to EHC, Del provided fundraising and project development consulting for clients ranging from grass-roots agencies to a national organization. She has worked in various fundraising roles in higher education, community development, a K-12 Christian school, and led a nonprofit that provided capacity-building training, technical assistance, and grants to faith-based community organizations. Two early work experiences that shaped her career were leading the adolescent unit of a psychiatric hospital in Azusa, CA and working in the youth ministry department of a rescue mission in downtown Los Angeles. She holds an MA in Missiology from Westminster Theological Seminary/Center for Urban Resources, and a BS in Therapeutic Recreation from Kansas State University. Along with her husband and two young adult children, she enjoys working with multi-cultural Christian ministries in Philadelphia.
