Daniel Hyun, DMin

serves a diverse and multicultural congregation as the founding pastor of The Village Church. He received a Bachelor’s degree in speech communication, an M.Div., and D.Min. in urban missiology. Dr. Hyun has a passion for urban ministry having served with churches in Philadelphia and now Baltimore. He works as a church planting catalyst for the SEND Network as he develops, trains, and coaches urban church planters. He regularly writes and speaks on issues including leadership, urban ministry, justice, and church planting. He founded the Ethnos Conference to lead the Church in conversations about multicultural mission and reconciliation. Dr, Hyun’s personal interests include sports, working out, good food, and conversations on culture. After God, his greatest joy and desire in life is to be a loving husband and dad to his wife Judie and their two daughters.
