Justin Harbin has served as the Director of the Center for Teaching & Learning at LBC | Capital since 2020. Previously, he coordinated the Office of Teaching Effectiveness in a similar role from 2016-2019 and held the position of Instructional Designer in the Office of Digital Learning.

His doctoral research centered around supporting faculty innovation in teaching practice through faculty learning communities at LBC (EdD, Arizona State University), a model which has become a key practice of the Center since this time.

His current research interests focus on the work of integrating the Christian faith within the classroom, specifically around which practices form students into Christian learners and thinkers.
