Michael Anthony, PhD

Michael is currently serving as the Chief Operations and Finance Officer at Dream Centers in Colorado Springs where he is responsible for the oversight and support of the operations and finances at the Dream Centers. This nonprofit organization has a medical clinic for women who have no insurance or are underinsured. In addition, they have Mary’s Home, a residential housing program for homeless mothers and their children.

Prior to that he served as the Vice Provost for Educational Development and Institutional Effectiveness at Biola University where he was also a Professor of Christian Education and Leadership from 1984 – 2021 (37 years). He is an adjunct professor at Dallas Seminary, Denver Seminary as well as Capital Seminary and Graduate School. He is an author/editor of 13 books related to theology, leadership, and nonprofit management.

He is also the President of Calibrate Global Consulting where he consults with various non-profit agencies (e.g. private schools, mission agencies, churches, and camps) for the purposes of leadership development, executive coaching, strategic planning, organizational advancement, and mission engagement.

He has conducted missions activities and teaching assignments in countries all over the world including: Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Peru, South Africa, Spain, and Thailand.
