Ryan’s career journey has seen him seek to impact youth through teaching, coaching, and athletic administration. His teaching career began in Christian school education as a Health/PE teacher and has seen him recently return to the classroom as a university Sports Management Professor.
Ryan has been privileged to coach soccer for a variety of ages (from 3-23) and skill levels from introductory to professional and everything in between. He has coached in a national tournament match within the NAIA and has acquired his “B” license within the United States Soccer Federation.
In regards to athletic administration, Ryan’s first opportunity came as a Christian school athletic director. He then became a Sports Complex Director at the university level and has spent the past 8 years in director positions within youth soccer clubs.
Ryan is looking forward to using his diverse experiences to help train the next generation of coaches and athletic administrators within the functional roles in which they will need to be prepared as well as, most importantly, how to integrate a missional scope and Biblical worldview within the industry.
