David met the Lord 53 years ago as a teenager in Baltimore City when his older brother led him to the saving faith in Jesus Christ. He loves the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word and believes that the Lord made us to know Him, to enjoy Him, and to make Him known. David and his wife Tracey have been happily married for 37 years. They have 5 children, four sons and a daughter, and 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. He and his wife currently reside in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
David is a native of Baltimore City where he attended public schools. He graduated from Washington Bible College with a BS in Pastoral Theology, and he graduated from Capital Bible Seminary with an M.Div. degree in Pastoral Theology in 2006. He is currently doing research to complete a Ph.D. in Leadership from Capital Seminary and Graduate School.
He served as the Senior Pastor of Manna Bible Baptist Church in Baltimore, MD for 16 years following the death of Pastor Joseph Brown, the founder of Manna Bible Baptist Church. He is currently serving as one of the lead pastors at Manna Bible. He also served as the Assistant to the Pastor for Pastor Kenneth L. Barney, Sr. at New Antioch Baptist Church of Randallstown for 10 years.
David is also currently serving as an adjunct professor at Lancaster Bible College, in Greenbelt, MD. His dissertation project focuses on mentoring African men for leadership roles in their homes, churches, and in their communities.
David sought the Global Site Director position believing that it is a natural expansion of his educational pursuit in the realm of Biblical higher education. He is overwhelmed with the opportunity to serve in the capacity of Site Director at the Washington DC campus and is elated, yet humbled, by the weightiness and significance of the leadership role.
Nonetheless, he is grateful for the opportunity to conduct his expanded duties faithfully and prayerfully for the glory of Jesus Christ, his Savior. He looks forward to developing his relationship with the LBC family of dedicated servants of God who aspire to make Christ known and teach students to live a Christ-centered biblical worldview in the church and society.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen! (Ephesians 3:20-21)
